NOTE *1 THE LIGHT GREEN(-) KEY SENSE WIRE AT THE STEERING COLUMN MUST SEE A (-) NEGATIVE DURING REMOTE START TO KEEP THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT FROM COMING ON. SPLICE THE BANDED END OF A 1 AMP RECTIFIER DIODE(1N4004, FROM RADIO SHACK) TO THE NEGATIVE STATUS OUTPUT WIRE(SAME WIRE THAT RUNS TO YOUR BYPASS MODULE) FROM REMOTE STARTER, TAP UNBANDED END OF DIODE INTO THE KEYSENSE WIRE. NOTE *2 USE GRAY/BLACK (-) FOR THE DRIVERS DOOR AND LIGHT GREEN/BLACK (-) FOR THE PASSENGER DOOR(S). THE GRAY/BLACK (-) IS LOCATED NEAR THE DIAGNOSTIC PLUG HARNESS UNDER THE DRIVERS SIDE DASH AND THE LIGHT GREEN/BLACK (-) IS LOCATED IN A BLACK 24 PIN PLUG BEHIND THE FUSEBOX IN THE CENTER CONSOLE. WHEN CONNECTING TO AN ALARM SYSTEM USE ALL (4) DOOR TRIGGER WIRES AND DIODE ISOLATE, TO CONNECT, SEE DIAGRAM. |
