NOTE #1: This vehicle is equipped with a Special Anti-theft key, to remote start you will
need a Bypass module 791, use this module IF you have a extra ignition key to
place inside the 791 to remote start, if you do not have an extra key to use or wish
not to have a key placed inside this bypass module, we OFFER a KEYLESS INTERFACE
BYPASS MODULE that does not require a key to be placed inside the bypass module,
this is Part # PKALL or PKFM, either one will work, to order, go to the INTERFACE
BYPASS MODULE PAGE on this website.
NOTE #2: the GEM (Generic Electronic Module) is located to the LEFT of the STEERING COLUMN.
NOTE #3: these wires are at the 26-Pin Plug at the GEM, this vehicle has 4 door pin triggers,
the DRIVERS DOOR is a YELLOW/BLACK (-) PASSENGER DOOR is a GREY/RED (-)
DRIVERS REAR DOOR is a LIGHT GREEN/YELLOW (-) and the PASSENGER REAR
DOOR is a PINK/LIGHT BLUE (-) When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM, use all
4 DOOR TRIGGER wires and DIODE ISOLATE, to connect, See DIAGRAM.
NOTE #4: On vehicles WITH a FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY, the TRUNK RELEASE wire is a
PURPLE/YELLOW (-) on vehicle WITHOUT a FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY, it is a
GREY/RED (+) at the Trunk Release switch. On Station Wagons to release the
rear hatch, use the YELLOW/LIGHT GREEN (-) wire in the 26-Pin Plug of the GEM.
NOTE #5: the PCM (Power Control Module) is located on the PASSENGER SIDE FIREWALL
under the hood.
