INFORMATION |
| NOTE #1: This vehicle may be equipped with CHRYSLER'S ANTI-THEFT TRANSPONDER System
(GRAY IGNITION KEY), if so to remote start will require the 791 BYPASS MODULE and
an extra Ignition key, to order go to the SECURITY BYPASS MODULE PAGE on this
website.
NOTE #2: To Remote Start this vehicle and turn on the AC/Heater, will require an extra relay part
#775 and a (-)Negative thru a 180 Ohm Resistor, ( USE A 1/2 WATT 150 OHM AND A
33 OHM IN SERIES). THIS MUST BE INSTALLED to operate in Remote Start mode, to
connect, See DIAGRAM.
NOTE #3: To turn on the PARKING LIGHTS requires a 2000 Ohm resistor and an extra
relay,See DIAGRAM
NOTE #4: This vehicle uses a 1-Wire Door Locking System requiring a (-)Negative thru a 5200
Ohm (4700 ohm + 470 ohm in series)Resistor for LOCK, and a (-)Negative thru a
2000 Ohm(1000 + 1000 in series) Resistor for UNLOCK and will require extra relays
for some units, See DIAGRAM
NOTE #5: This vehicle uses 4 door pin trigger wires, the DRIVERS DOOR is a PURPLE (-) at PIN
6, the PASSENGERS DOOR is a PURPLE/WHITE (-) PIN 7, the DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING
DOOR is a PURPLE/GREY, PIN 8 and the PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR is a
PURPLE/YELLOW, PIN 5. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM use all 4 wires and
DIODE ISOLATE. See DIAGRAM
NOTE #6: The BCM (Body Control Module is located in the DRIVERS KICK PANEL, near the
PARKING BRAKE. The BCM has 5 Plugs, (1) 6-Pin Plug, and (4) 34-Pin PLugs.
NOTE #7: The Rear Hatch Pop is a (-)Negative thru a 1500 Ohm Resistor and will require an
extra Relay See DIAGRAM
NOTE #8: The SLIDING DOORS can be operated thru a 1500 Ohm Resistor for the DRIVERS
SIDE and a 2700 Ohm Resistor for the PASSANGER SIDE, this requires a (-)Negative
and extra relays, See DIAGRAM.
NOTE #9: The TACH wire on the 2.4L is BLUE/GREEN or BLUE/TAN. On the 3.3L and 3.8L use
the BLUE/GREEN, BLUE/TAN or BLUE/ORANGE. (AC)
NOTE #10: This vehicle will DISARM with a (-)Negative thru a 9000 Ohm resistor, MUST use
SINGLE pulse to DISARM and a DOUBLE pluse on this wire will also UNLOCK.
